Trust in our governments and media is at an all-time low. Censorship and suppression of free speech is on the rise. And in our schools, universities and cultural institutions, our history and the views of people that some may dislike are ‘cancelled’ rather than challenged and better understood.

Increasingly, to question the mainstream narrative means to be labelled a ‘conspiracy theorist’, no matter how salient or solid the research and reasoning may be. And as our language becomes ever more controlled and policed, offending someone – intentionally or otherwise – equals a ‘hate crime’. All are labels and instruments of division that can never do justice to the wonderful, meandering complexity of what it is to be human.

Founded in 2021, Critical Thinking Now brings together opinions, experiences and research from the widest possible spectrum… always with the intention to learn, to question, and to think before judgements are made. We don’t see left and right; we don’t see black or white. In these times of polarity, mis-trust and confusion, we just see pieces of a puzzle that need to be put together.
